Notice to Residents:

Ricewood MUD – Voluntary Water Conservation (Stage 1)

Due to the severe heat and weather conditions, your District has now entered Stage 1 of its Drought Contingency Plan. We ask that all residents conserve water by taking the following measures:

A. Outdoor watering by sprinklers only between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.:

(1) Odd-numbered addresses may use water outdoors on Tuesday and Saturday.
(2) Even-numbered addresses may use water outdoors on Wednesday and Sunday.
(3) Irrigation Customers - Monday and Thursday

Ensure that you have the most recent information as it relates to Ricewood MUD by signing up for the District Alert System, and receive communication through text and email updates. Additionally, the District website will be updated, as needed, with information regarding droughts, weather and storm warnings, flood risks, and any possible impacts to facilities or drainage as a result of weather.
